The British and irish Lions have beaten Wellington concincingly. The front row combination of Jenkins, Byrne and White look as the starters for the first test. The seconds rows also had an excellent game. The back row improved greatly with the arrival of Neil Back who proved vital in the breakdown areas. Peel had a solid game as did Cussiter later on in the game. Wilkinson did his test chances no harm providing he doesnt take too many hits on his left shoulder. O Driscoll showed signs of brilliance and Henson came thruogh with strong runs and off loads. Robinson had a quiet game by his standards as we all know his potential. Lewsey has cemented his test spot at either wing or full back. Gareth Thomas had a sound game apart from one defensive error but more than made up for it with his work rate. As for Wellington despite being considerably weakened they proved stiffer opposition than first thought. Congratulations to Gethin Jenkins on his first try in a Lions jersey that looks to have a long future ahead of it also picking up the man of the match award.

WELL DONE BOYS KEEP IT UP.
