The Lions have continued their winning ways after an eagerly fought first half. hodgsons man of the match performance was well deserved but the improved defensive qualities of the side showed dividends by the end of the game. Owen made amends for his previous poor showing at Cardiff but Corry and Murphy also showed class with their involvement in try scoring opportunities. Cusiter had an excellent game apart from one mistake that cost the Lions dear. In fairness the match was evenly poised until the 55 miniute when Andrew Hore was sin binned from repeat infringements. The Lions exploited this with superior fitness allowing the points to steadily rattle up to put the game safe.

The host showed their determination with Brendan WATTS scoring at the end to round off what had been a valiant effort by the home side. Some of the players have been looked on as having to prove their places and some did.

All the same another win for the Tour and a special message to all the Players , Staff and Supporters out in NEW ZEALAND.

HAVE AN ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS TIME
